The basic safety check is a quick and efficient 5-point health check of your vehicles Tyres, Battery, Wiper Blade Operation, Service Interval & Visual Alignment check. Some things can be over looked so leave it to us to make sure your vehicle leaves our showroom in a safe and efficient state. Island Tyres mechanics are well trained for most makes and models.

Undercarriage Safety Inspection

Our Mechanics will perform a full undercarriage health check of your vehicle which includes the following categories – Body Condition, Engine Compartment Fluids, Underbody (Steering & Suspension), Braking System & Tyres.

Major Safety Inspection

This full vehicle safety inspection is very popular with new car owners, family commuters and logistic vehicles.

This major safety check is provided free with every service performed at Island Wheel and Tyre Centre whether the vehicle is old or new. This detailed safety check includes – Exterior Condition (Light Operation, Mirrors, Windscreen etc.), Engine Compartment fluids and related components, Diagnostics Scan, Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Tyres, Exhaust (Including Catalytic Converter and Mufflers), Driveshaft’s, Wheels and related components, cooling system & Road Test.
